Free Community Shred Event at our Chicago Uptown Branch

At GLCU, we care about our members’ financial and personal well-being. That’s why we’ve partnered with Secure Document Solutions and Chinese Mutual Aid Association to provide you an opportunity to safely and securely destroy confidential or sensitive information.

Join us on Friday, October 23 from 10am - 12pm at St. Augustine College- 1345 W Argyle St, Chicago, IL 60640 for our free community shredding event. We'll have a high-tech shred truck onsite destroying your documents to standards well within the requirements of federal privacy laws, using processes that leave documents virtually impossible to reconstruct. We'll also have a GLCU representative on staff with additional information about staying safe online.

All members are invited to bring up to four bags or boxes of documents. Donuts and coffee will be provided.

This event is open to the community, so please let your friends and neighbors know they are welcome to attend!
